Dolj county · 2 visits · 6 days on site

MedCorp has reached Isalnita through the Health in Vicinity programme. Our mobile medical teams — doctors, nurses and screening equipment — have been deployed to the community for consultations and health education, free for every beneficiary. We return periodically for follow-up so that any identified case can be monitored.

What a MedCorp caravan in Isalnita looks like

A MedCorp medical caravan arriving in Isalnita brings the full ecosystem needed for a complete medical evaluation: doctors across multiple specialties, medical nurses, portable screening equipment (ultrasound, EKG, rapid analysis devices) and educational materials. All consultations are free, require no prior booking, and do not require medical insurance.

Types of intervention organised here

MPB - Medicina personalizata
A personalised medical programme run over three days on site, designed for a deep, step-by-step evaluation of health status. The first day covers blood draws, measurements, complex medical profiling, medical history and symptom assessment. The second day is dedicated to extended clinical examination and an internal medicine consultation, which together inform the recommendations for specialist consultations. The third day features the recommended consultations, tailored to each individual's medical profile.

Data from each caravan is anonymised and used for public health reports, contributing to medical service planning in Romania's rural areas. Patients whose cases require further investigation are actively referred to partner hospitals.
